Synopsis

Open to practitioners from any discipline interested in organising conversations within their artistic communities, in a round takes the form of a sharing that flows into a dialogue about dialogues.

Beginning with reflections by community-engaged artists and facilitators Chew Shaw En and Ngiam Li Yi on organising intimate dialogues about community-centric arts-based work since 2025,  the floor will then open up for a conversation about participants’ experiences with and desires for organising practice-centric dialogues. Questions the group may muse on include: How do we find our people? How might a dialogue session be structured? How do we bring a community together amidst competing priorities?

Please note:

  • This programme has limited capacity to ensure that every voice is heard. Should it be oversubscribed, we will select a broad group of participants from different disciplines, backgrounds and interests.

  • Upon receiving your registration, we will confirm your participation via email by 17 Aug.
